12/09/2017 -MOSCOW 2017: FIOCCHI CELEBRATES A SUCCESSFUL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2017 ISSF Shotgun World Championship came to an end in Moscow, Russia, after 11 competition days that involved 640 athletes coming from 76 nations. As usual, the Fiocchi Team athletes gained the spotlights in each and every discipline, collecting a impressive tally of 6 medals, including 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Fiocchi finished atop of the highest step of the Fox Lodge Shooting Club's podium both at the women's and junior women's Trap finals.

It was the 2012 Olympic Champion Jessica Rossi of Italy who won the women's final, gaining her third world title after Maribor's and Lima's. She was joined on the podium by another ambassador of Fiocchi, Zuzana Rehak Stefeckova of Slovakia, who collected the Bronze medal. Among junior athletes, it was the young Fiocchi shooter Maria Lucia Palmitessa (Italy) who became the new world champion.

Fiocchi wins gold also in the junior men's Trap event, thanks to the France's Clement Bourge, who closed the match in the lead after shooting the final with great confidence.

In the Double Trap event, Fiocchi's Antonino BarillĂ  and Daniele Di Spigno closed the individual match in fifth and sixth place, respectively, leading team Italy atop of the teams podium to win the title.

Also the Skeet competitions delivered great satisfactions to Fiocchi. Italy's Elia Sdruccioli - who had already won a world cup gold in Porpetto a couple of weeks before - pocketed the junior men's silver medal. In the following senior final, it was the reigning Olympic Champion Gabriele Rossetti who triumphed, winning Fiocchi another world championship title that sealed the event.

The world titles, the medals, and the great results nailed by our athletes in Moscow confirmed once again the perfect matching between Fiocchi ammunitions and international champions, who entrust us to succeed. Together we win!
