Our best result was obtained by the women's relay, who came 5th with a slight margin of two seconds from the third place. Very good performance by our Lisa Vittozzi, who competed along Dorothea Wierer, Federica Sanfilippo and Alexia Runggaldier. Germany claimed the Gold, while Norway won the Silver medal.

On the other end, the men's relay team finished 12th, in the race where the podium was filled by France, Austria and Norway.

Our men did a better job during the individual races: Dominik Windisch was 6th during the Sprint competition, Lukas Hofer 10th in the Pursuit one. On the contrary, our women struggled individually, with Wierer being the best placed in the Sprint race (13th) and in the Pursuit one (18th).

The biathlon season now moves to Kontiolahti in Finland, where the second to last stage of IBU World Cup will be held from 6th to 13th of March.
