The international biathlon season will start in Pokljuka (SLO) on December 2nd, opening a new four-year cycle that will close with the Winter Olympic Games of Beijing 2022.

On the start line, Fiocchi Munizioni will lineup once again alongside the Italian National Team, who closed a successful 14-medal campaign in 2018, also adding two fantastic Olympic bronze medals won at PyeongChang 2018 by Dominik Windisch and the mixed relay.

There will be nine IBU World Cup stages in total between December and March, plus the IBU World Championship. Here’s the complete schedule of the international season:

From November 30th to December 9th: IBU World Cup in Pokljuka (SLO)

From December 10th to December 16th: IBU World Cup in Hochfilzen (AUT)

From December 17th to December 23rd: IBU World Cup in Nove Mesto (CZE)

From January 7th to January 13th: IBU World Cup in Oberhof (GER)

From January 14th to January 20th: IBU World Cup in Ruhpolding (GER)

From January 21st to January 27th: IBU World Cup in Anterselva (ITA)

From February 4th to February 10th: IBU World Cup in Canmore (CAN)

From February 11th to February 17th: IBU World Cup in Salt Lake City (USA)

From March 7th to March 17th: IBU World Championship in Oestersund (SWE)

From March 18th to March 24th: IBU World Cup in Oslo Holmenkollen (NOR)

Wearing a never-seen-before green uniform, the Azzurri team will be divided in two groups: Lukas Hofer, Dominik Windisch, Lisa Vittozzi and Dorothea Wierer will compose the elite team, while Thomas Bormolini, Thierry Chenal, Giuseppe Montello, Saverio Zini, Nicole Gontier, Alexia Runggaldier and Federica Sanfilippo will be part of the A team.
