From April 28th to May 8th, in fact, the Larnaka Olympic Shooting Range will welcome 429 among the best shooters in the world, representing 61 countries and battling for a spot on the podium of the five events.
20 of them, will be shooters of the Fiocchi Team.
In the women's Skeet, whose final will take place on Sunday, April 30th, Italy's Martina Bartolomei and Argentina's Melisa Gil will shoot for us, while the following day Melisa's brother Federico Gil and Italy's Christian Benet, Tammaro Cassandro and Luigi Lodde will compete in the men's event.
On Wednesday, May 3rd, then, an all-Italian squad composed by Alessandro Chianese, Daniele Di Spigno and Davide Gasparini will crush clays in the men's Double Trap event.
On Friday, May 5th, our hefty Trap Women representative will enlist Jessica Rossi (ITA), Ray Bassil (LBN), Alessandra Perilli (SMR), Natalie Rooney (NZL), Zuzana Rehak Stefecekova (SVK) and Mopsi Veromaa (FIN), while the fifth and final match, the men's Trap, will see Italy's Luca Miotto and Valerio Grazini, Spain's Antonio Bailon, Slovenia's Tomaz Blasinsek and Finland's Vesa Tornroos compete for the last podium of the 2017 ISSF World Cup Series.
After the Larnaka competition, the spotlights will first move to Moscow (RUS), where the ISSF Shotgun World Championship will take place between August and September, and then to New Delhi (IND), where the World Cup Final is scheduled in late October.
