On Saturday, during the first Mass Start competition, the 22-year-old biathlete claimed the first place over her teammates Alexia Runggaldier and Nicole Gontier, finishing in 28'59"90. The Men's competition, on the other end, was won by Dominik Windisch.

The following day, Lisa continued her winning way by conquering the Gold medal during the Sprint race, with only a missed target and a race time of 19'33"40, overcoming Michela Carrara and Federica Sanfilippo. Lukas Hofer was the best performer in the Men's race.

"I'm very satisfied for these two victories, as my season ends on a high note. Next year I will try to do even better – Vittozzi said at the end of the Championships – I have to thank everyone that has believed in me, especially Gruppo Sportivo dei Carabinieri and Fiocchi Munizioni for their constant support".

At the same time, also Marzio Maccacaro – Fiocchi's Sales Manager – was very impressed: "We are happy for Lisa's achievements and proud to support her. Thanks to her two Gold medals, our season's medal count keeps growing and we look forward to the Fiocchi Team continuing on this successfull path".
