THE COPPA ITALIA FIOCCHI IS A PRESTIGIOUS COMPETITION: BY INVOLVING MANY ORGANIZING COMMITTEES AND THE WHOLE ITALIAN BIATHLON FAMILY, IT WAS POSSIBLE TO HOLD 14 EVENTS DURING THE SEASON, ALTHOUGH THE WEATHER CONDITIONS REQUIRED AN EXTRA EFFORT TO PREPARE THE TRACKS.

The participation rate was pretty high, with 195 Athletes competing from 38 Teams and 4 Gruppi Sportivi Nazionali Militari e di Stato. Same can be said about the races' level, as promising youngsters like Carmen Runggaldier (Women Junior/Senior category) and Saverio Zini (Men Junior/Senior) were among the winners.

Fiocchi is supporting the Cup as a Title Sponsor, enhancing its role within the biathlon world where the company has been very active for many years as Official Sponsor of the Italian National Team.

The ones who came out on top in each category, plus the best Team, GSNMS and Committee, received a prize from Fiocchi up to 75.000 munitions. Here you can see the full list of the winners that took home the awards:
